Our Story
Formerly Huizen’s Furniture, Stonesthrow is the brainchild of fourth-generation Huizen family members Todd Huizen, Karen Kloostra, and Kathy Wissink. Recognizing a local need for more modern home furnishing choices, the three decided to provide consumers with the ability to find those furnishings right in Grand Rapids. The original Huizen’s Furniture still offers transitional as well as traditional furnishings and is located just west of US-131 in Wyoming. A continuing tradition since 1926!
